SENSE MAKING

There was a period when I gradually stopped recognising the world in quite the same way. Conversation became difficult, music became quieter, and my attention shifted elsewhere. I found myself noticing small details, collecting fragments, recording observations and leaving voice notes without really knowing why. Looking back, I think I was simply trying to make sense of things.

Cursor Major grew out of that process.

The songs, paintings, objects and footage collected here aren’t separate projects. They’re different ways of looking at the same thing. They’re observations gathered over time.

Somewhere along the way, Kelly and I welcomed our daughter, Evie (EVSN). Family life quietly became part of the work. Her paintings now sit alongside my songs.

If there is a thread through all of this, it is simply paying attention. Looking a little closer. Remaining curious. Trying, in small ways, to make sense of things.

The archive continues, one entry at a time.
